Full audio interview by The Gateway Pundit with January 6th prisoner Jeffrey McKellop by Jim Hoft and my opinion on the matter.

Quick Background of the Jeffrey McKellop Interview

SFC Jeffrey McKellop, honorably retired, is a 20-year Army veteran and former Special Forces Group soldier. Jeffrey McKellop got caught up in the January 6th incident (I refuse to call it an insurrection). McKellop has been a political prisoner without a fair trial for two years.

He’s been stripped of his entire life: his freedom, his house, bank accounts, retirement and investment accounts, car and even his clothes.

Jim Hoft is the founder and editor of The Gateway Pundit. Jim Hoft conducted and recorded a phone interview with Jeffrey McKellop.

Jeffrey McKellop says the January 6th incident was a setup and then covered up.

My Opinion On The Jeffrey McKellop Interview And Our ❛Process❜

First, let me come out and say those people who attended this protest/demonstration were idiots. I’m 100% for our right to protest, but putting yourself in the middle of a frenzied crowd is beyond dangerous – it’s stupid.

Remember, it’s my opinion. That does not make them insurrectionists. I imagine a handful of those people were guilty of an attempted insurrection, but not all. Not even the majority.

You can listen to the audio, follow the dots, and form your opinion, but I’m outraged for a few reasons.

First, where’s the media? Why is this, and many other reports, completely ignored by the mainstream media?

Second, for the government and the media to continue calling this an armed insurrection is ludicrous – and criminal in my mind.

Next, why don’t we know about the key players from the government and their role in any instigation, encouragement, or entrapment of the uprise? Is there evidence of a coverup? Was it a setup to entrap protesters into breaking the law? Why aren’t all the facts made public? Or even to the defendant’s attorneys? Were key players planted into the crowd to stir up emotions and instigate violence?

“No person shall…be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.”

The due process clause in the Fifth Amendment

Next, where’s due process? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? These guys were tossed behind bars, many without a means of defense, and given court-appointed attorneys that either seemed incompetent or on the side of the government’s prosecution.

Also, we’ve been watching the government re-defining law and language for several years. Enacting emergency powers and redefining the legal meaning of words when it supports their agenda. What’s the definition of a vaccine? Illegally using government power and stolen taxpayer money to spy on American citizens. Using social and legacy media to form public opinion and silence those who dare to voice concern.

Trust in the media and the government is so low many people ignore everything being done and said by anyone. It’s tough to watch our Country fall apart like this.

Let’s Be Fair – Was Jeffrey McKellop Innocent?

To be fair, the charges against Jeffrey McKellop are severe, and if he did assault police officers at the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol protests, he should be punished.

See: CNN's tweet of the video released by the DOJ.

Wearing combat gear in a public demonstration is stupid, but it shouldn’t be illegal. Attending a rally or protest shouldn’t be re-defined as an insurrection making everyone guilty by attendance. That’s not how we treat people in this country.

Attacking anyone – is illegal and should be prosecuted.

According to The Justice Dept, these are the charges against Jeffrey McKellop.

  • Assaulting, Resisting, or Impeding Certain Officers

  • Assaulting, Resisting, or Impeding Certain Officers Using a Dangerous Weapon, Inflicting Bodily Injury

  • Assaulting, Resisting, or Impeding Certain Officers Using a Dangerous Weapon

  • Civil Disorder

  • Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds with a Deadly or Dangerous Weapon

  • Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds with a Deadly or Dangerous Weapon

  • Engaging in Physical Violence in a Restricted Building or Grounds with a Deadly or Dangerous Weapon

  • Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building

  • Act of Physical Violence in the Capitol Grounds or Buildings

We Don’t Know The Truth

My issue revolves around silencing any opposing viewpoint and using citizens of this country as collateral damage to further an agenda and control the political narrative. Both sides need to step back and learn the truth — not assume one side is wrong because it goes against a preferred narrative.

I have no idea if Jeffrey McKellop’s accusations are true. I have no idea if the charges brought against him are true and accurate. Still, I completely believe the Justice Department, the Biden administration, and the other cowardly leaders are about as dishonest as ever.

True, accurate, or indifferent, these interviews should be reported in the media just as the security footage exposed in the Twitter files should have. Hiding behind a made-up national security shroud is BS. Keeping prisoners locked up for years waiting on fair trials is unconscionable.

I warned people they were too stupid to vote. No one listens. Please stop encouraging idiots to get out and vote. Let them stay home and watch CNN.

I’m done.
Brian
